CLIMATE CHANGE:HELP COMBAT IT NOW.

CLIMATE CHANGE:HELP COMBAT IT NOW. “We all moan and groan about the loss of the quality of life through the destruction of our ecology, and yet each one of us in our own little comfortable ways, contributes daily to that destruction. It is time now to awaken in each one of us the respect and attention our Mother desires” Ed. Asner, actor, environmental supporter. For many years skeptics call climate change a myth. But today, science has proved them all wrong. But this fact remains. Whether we face East or West, North or south, we face the same crisis - climate change. Whether we are black, white or yellow, we face the same challenge – climate change. Whether we are from Africa, America, Europe, Asia, Australia or the tens of thousands of small islands states around the world (globe) we face the same threat - climate change. We are all at risk. The multi-million dollar question is who speaks for Mother Earth? Nobody! But this is the only home that we have as human and other living being

WLI WATERFALLS:YOUR PREFERRED DESTINATION IN VOLTA REGION.

WLI WATERFALLS:YOUR PREFERRED DESTINATION IN VOLTA REGION. In the Hohoe Municipality in the Volta region of the Republic of Ghana, one of nature’s wonders stands tall and impressive inside a semi-deciduous forest. I am referring to WLI WATERFALL, the tallest waterfall in West Africa, measuring about 143 metres from the upper fall to the plunge pool below it. Its sheer grandeur, height, beauty and cool environment beat every imagination. It is a natural attraction every tourist will desire to visit. The path leading to this splendid waterfall through green and lush semi-deciduous forest starts from the Visitor Information Centre(VIC) . It is a narrow path that could allow passage for only two people walking side by side. The path is shaded by the tall trees of the forest making it almost impossible for the sun’s rays to reach the ground. Before one will reach the fall site he or she has to cross nine wooden foot bridges that have been built over the nine meanders of the AGUMATSA RIVE

Making the impossible possible.

MAKING THE IMPOSSIBLE IS POSSIBLE. “It is not because things are difficult that we do not dare; it is because we do not dare that things are difficult.” Seneca. History is written everyday in front of us by people who think differentlty and believe the impossible is really possible. Time and time again, when we look at history critically, people who have produced phenomenal results are those who set goals that everybody else thought were crazy, unrealistic, unattainable and even beyond reach. But here is the truth. Come to think of it this way. If some 25 years ago someone told you that almost everybody will be walking around with a small electronic device, the size of a credit card, would you have believed that person? No. You would have labelled him an unrealistic person, a dreamer and probably a ‘fool’. But here you are with the cellular phone, popularly called mobile phone. You can use it to play music, take and send pictures, communicate with computers all over the world, send and
